Since I use the Edit Lyrics box routinely and type-into-score only rarely, I'm not sure I understand this. What exactly do you mean by wrapping from one line to another? As far as I can tell, returns are completely ignored in the Edit Lyrics box. I typically like to enter the text with hard breaks according to the line breaks in the verse. You could put each syllable on a separate line if you want.
