As one who creates scores entirely for professional output, I feel 
compelled to point out that I use Finale --and always have--for all 
aspects of page layout, because it is capable of them. The program 
was always intended, AFAIK, to be an all-in-one music publishing 
package, and improving its  capacities in that regard is IMO entirely 
on-message. I do not own a page layout program, and wouldn't know 
what to do w. one if I did.

I also use Finale as my word processor, even for non-music correspondence.
