Are your last settings for these operations saved? That is, does Finale 
remember your print settings or your page layout settings?

I can't see any reason why the latter two could possibly change the file, 
but I can see it for the first two.

In any event, what you have written, Johannes, constitutes an easily 
verifiable problem report, unlike what Andrew wrote. It may be safe to 
assume that the programmers at Coda know what Andrew means, but if you 
really want to file useful problem reports, it's better to provide 
sufficient detail for the problem to be reproduced.
