[Finale] OT: hard drive dying!

The hard drive on my dual-boot iMac is about to crash. Nobody seems 
to be offering free Mac hardware advice online anymore, so can anyone 
on the list advise me? It's a 38 GB drive w. ca. 8 GB of data on it. 
I need to both recover the data (hopefully in one seamless lump) and 
replace the drive. Your thoughts?
