Hi, sorry for the off-topic question but all music lists that I'm a member of are Finale lists!
I want to improve the sound of my stage piano. Is it possible to use a laptop as a realtime software synthesizer? Apparently VST instruments can't be used in realtime, is that correct? If I need to buy a standalone sample player / ROMpler ... can anybody recommend a machine that comes with superb, realistic grand piano sounds, or one that can easily be loaded with such? Thanks. Has anybody heard the Roland Fantom XR, which comes with a piano sound made up of 700 individual samples?
