Huh? That's not a bug you've been mentioning! > If Brian was lying to me and telling the truth to you (about not being > able to duplicate the problem), then I guess he take-home message here > is that Coda doesn't think it's worth their while to investigate this > bug, let alone solve it. I think the tech support guy could be refering to the file-overwrite bug rather than the text block bug. Seeing this from a purely technical perspective, I personally think the file-overwrite bug can be very difficult to track down in a release version of Finale unless you don't provide extremely good clues (such as: how do you switch documents? With what method were the files opened? What did you do prior to the file overwrite? Which tools did you use? Did you use any plug-ins prior to the file overwrite? etc etc). Of course, sending a step-by-step list of how the bug is reproduced would be the ideal. Please remember that there's always a cause to why a bug occurs (like a certain user action or a sequence of actions), although it might "feel" like it happens randomly. This often explains why some persons are bitten by some bugs, why others don't. Anyway, it should be _much_ easier to track this down in the beta "debug" builds (to the Mac beta testers on this list).
