I think Andrew is right that you're basically SOL.
But if you absolutely must have this, I would guess that a way to pursue it would be to look for an independent utility that manipulates the PostScript data, starting with an image that is long and rectangular (ie, like scroll view) then spiralizing that. I doubt that such a utility is already available, but if you can find a PS programmer you could perhaps hire him to write one.
About 10 or 15 years ago I used to know PS programmers, but I'm not sure there's much of that going on anymore. There's a PS newsgroup; you could inquire there.
