(Hopefully, I don't confuse Dean too much)Don't you need a cross-over cable to do that with older macs? Or is that a function of 10.3? I know that my g5 doesn't need a cross-over, but my g3 laptop does.
Oh yes, true. I use a hub for my local network and don't have to bother with the crossover type of cables anymore. For Dean, depending on whether or not he's got a cable hookup, a router might be a better investment though.
