I think the BIGGEST thing would be to have some sort of Part/Score linking, as we have discussed on the list a couple of months ago. That would be a HUGE improvement for me, and for people I know who use Finale.
I really can't think of anything else that Finale needs. The expression improvements in 2004 were excellent.
Some "frill" things would be better support for Jazz notation. Scoups, bends, ghost notes. Chord changes over empty bars.
Another thing that would be neat to have would be to load a page/part format to use in another part. Say you spend a LOT of time formating one part. Save the layout as a template, then apply that template to the other parts. I suppose the COPY and PASTE method works but.........
