The dual-core PowerPC may also mark the next major leap in Mac notebook G4 processors before Apple gets G5 chips from IBM that are capable of integration into a top-spec portable computer.

That's the first suggestion I've heard that there may actually be one more PowerBook G4 revision before the PowerBook G5 is introduced, after all. (Although this dual-core G4 would be a significant leap forward from current G4 tech.)


No doubt this has something to do with the fact that G5 production at IBM is even worse than everyone thought:
