I just called Coda/Make Music, and am none too happy. I just purchased Finale 2004c this past June, having put off my purchase as long as I could because of all the bugs reported here on the Finale list. When I explained this to the customer service person on the other end of the telephone conversation, he informed me I would still have to pay $89 for the upgrade to Finale 2005.

As someone who has been a Finale user since Version 1.0, I am not a happy camper about having to shell out another $89 in less than two months. His suggestion was to get my money's worth out of 2004 for six months or more, and then wait to upgrade to 2005, or even wait for 2006. What a way to run a company...talk about being appreciated for my dedication to this company and product.

Anyone have the name of the head of the company, plus either a direct e-mail and/or snail mail address so I can share my thoughts with that person?

Martin

Judging by past years, this is not just a "pre-order" price, but rather the price for the first couple of months of availability. After that, it usually goes up by $20 or so.
