I've got a score with a part for drum set; the drum set plays using just a Snare Drum and Ride Cymbal to played using brushes. I would like to know what you think of the following, between statements an questions:
1. Snare drum notation is displayed in the second space with full head notation 2. Ride Cymbal notation is displayed on the fourth line with crossed head notation 3. I want to specify the use of brushes. What formula is usually used? And do you specify it only on part or on score as well? 4. Can one call a Snare Drum and Ride Cymbal a Drum Set? If not, what?
