I am not a programmer, but does this make any sense? Regardless of how complex the program is, the end printed result is from font characters and defined shapes. That does not seem more complex to do from one program to another.
Yes, this doesn't make sense at all! It seems like MM is determined that Finale should _not_ provide the EPS support by itself (and instead use a "3rd party solution" such as rely on the printer driver to create the EPS file).
As I see it, MM _must_ bite the bullet and create the lines of code required to create EPS themselves.
EPS is a fully documented file format and not a very complicated one. The only tricky thing I can think of is the embedding of fonts, but I'm sure there must be example code available for this.
