Hi Hiro,

Paul said he wanted Tiger (OS X 10.4). I understand your reasons for *not* wanting to install Tiger right away, but Paul said he wants it. And if you did want Tiger, it would be a bad idea to buy a new computer now instead of after Tiger is released, because you'll end up having to pay $129 for the OS upgrade. That's all I'm saying.

Hmm, I have nothing personally against you, Darcy. In fact, I am even looking forward to come hear your band sometime. But we are constantly having opposite opinions.

I just can't expect to work with Tiger right away. I stop subscribing
ADC so I have to make line to get Tiger on the release date, which I did
for Panther, but I keep it on my play-ground partition, while I still use
Panther for my real jobs. That has been the way it is.

It has been my policy that I do not trust anything first generation comes
from Apple. If you wait for a machine that doesn't run Panther, and you
find some of your app won't run reliably with Tiger, you are done.

For my line of work, Tiger is introducing multiple CA instances. This
will give some impact on DAW, that is my bread and butter. I don't
expect I will be working under Tiger right away.

P.S. Did I tell you I bought G5 Dual 2.5GHz a month ago? Boy. I used to
print X-Noise, or I get CPU choke-up. Yesterday, I actually instantiated
12 X-Noise in real-time, and cpu hit is still 45%!!!
