The problem with this is that I think many of us like one kind of header on p.1 (largish, on the left side of the page) and another kind of header on p.2 ff. (smaller, centered at top). At least, that's one fairly standard way of doing things. If you use the above option to create the p.1 header (which I think is how it is set up by default), you have to manually tweak the recurring header on p.2; if you use this option for the recurrning header, you have to manually do the p.1 header. Either way is the same amount of work, and the point is there's no way to get Finale to automatically do both.
