Oh, yes, I almost forgot.

One of the reasons I was having trouble understanding the new copy behaviour is that after running this particular TG Tools plugin, Mass Edit is left as Copy Everything, rather than with the items I had set before running the plugin.

I kept on getting items copying that I thought I had turned off, when in fact it was TG Tools that had turned them back on.

Now that I know, I'll be able to work around it, but it sure was a puzzle!

I have discovered a way that rehearsal letters get duplicated, even when Mass Edit is set NOT to copy them while dragging (which doesn't help when command-C copying, as you have to use the contextual menu to avoid them then.)

It's when you use TG Tools Smart Explosion of Multipart Staves. If it is set to copy articulations, slurs, etc., apparently measure-attached expressions are among the "etc." that are copied.

I honestly don't know what to suggest here, as I can foresee times when I WANT measure expressions copied; I just don't want my rehearsal letters and tempo markings dupicated. How could TG Tools know the difference? I lay the blame completely on Finale for this one. It's brand new in Fin2005, as far as I can tell, and I haven't been able to reap any benefit from the new copy behaviour, while it HAS slowed me down something terrible. Grr.
