Well, OpenSubscriber.com appears to be the only one of the three 
services mentioned here that is currently subscribed to the list, so 
it's the only one to be concerned about at this point.

I think that's up to the list owner, don't you think?

One of the other two sites that you identified has a specific 
mechanism for a list owner to request removal of a list. Any of these 
sites ought to have that as a starting point. Indeed, they ought to 
seek list owner permission before subscribing!

Then it's up to a list owner to determine the consensus of user 
opinion.
