But if you haven't explicitly identified the content you're releasing into the public domain, then it's *not* in the public domain. The default for content with no copyright notice is the assumption of the most restrictive copyright rules, which is that the creator reserves all rights. These archives are completely ignoring that fact, even if they are archiving posts of people who are fine with it. > Point made, I think.
