US law is slowly being harmonized with international treaties.

As for the opensubscriber.com owner, we've already exchanged several long
emails. In the last email, I wrote, "There is no group consensus on
removing the Finale list from your servers, so all I will personally ask
for now is that you begin work on a script to remove individual posters'
intellectual property upon their request. Please file this as a formal
notice of infringement."
