Yes, this is the problem with the method, and that's why I asked for improvements in the click assignment dialog, because the problems are entirely caused by the poor design of the user interface. The improvements to it that would help me with my figured bass entry would also help regular lyrics click assignment, especially in highly repetitive texts. > It may all depend on the number of figures your score has. Yes, the chord tool doesn't offer much at this point, except the promise of something it can't deliver. I find it an interesting ommission that the only figured bass method that goes unmentioned in the Finale online documentation is using lyrics. I really think Finale ought to include a figured bass font along with the program. And if they are really interested in improving playback, this would be a great one to add. -- David W.
