Hi Johannes,
Are the affected notes under a slur? If not, set HP to "Incorporate
Data" (velocity), then try using the MIDI tool to increase the
velocity of the notes in the affected passage. This will give you
more heavily articulated notes, which should help them sound even
when the notes are very short.
Also, HP automatically shortens the last note of a slurred passage --
in this case, if you *have* slurs, it may be shortening them too much.
