Hi John,
Thanks for your quick response
to my problem concerning fretboards.
I clicked on the Staff Tool but,
can't find the check boxes you mentioned. I also tried to click the Staff Tool/
Staff/ Edit Staff Attributes to find the checkboxes to no
avail.
Can you help
further?

Prepare your fretboards with the chord tool,
attaching them to rests. Align fretboards on top of the staff for convenience.
In the staff tool, deselect all the checkboxes, and select the 0-line
staff option. That should do it for you.
