Friends:
I have a friend who is still laboring with WINFin 2k, and who responds
to suggestions to upgrade in ways which reduce to "if it ain't broke
don't fix it". He has run up against a question that I thought I knew
the answer to, but which is presently eluding me, and since I won't be
able to get any response from tech support for a number of hours yet, I
thought I'd pose the question here in the meantime.
My friend has a number of measures of "meaured tremolo", and he has
successfully notated it by defining a duplet of two sixteenths in the
space of one half, and changing the noteheads. But he would like it to
play back correctly, that is, the measured tremolo sounding, and wonders
if there is some technique by which he can hide the notes for the
measured tremolo in another measure, and still have them play back. I
thought I remembered coming across this once, but I can't remember
exactly where, and cannot find it in the documentation.
