I don't think it's possible to fault MakeMusic here. Fin2007 (to be
released this summer) will be Universal (both PPC and Intel-native)
-- and their conversion to Universal binaries will be faster than
Sibelius, faster than most pro audio software, and faster even than
most mainstream software, including MS Office and Adobe CS.
We all know that MakeMusic dropped the ball in during initial
conversion to OS X, but IMO they have more than made up for it with
the very quick conversion to Universal (MacIntel-native) binaries in
Finale 2007. In fact, MakeMusic announced Universal support for
Fin2007 within weeks of the release of the first Intel Macs.
It's hard to see what more they could do... I suppose they could
release, for free, a Universal update for Finale 2006, but that was
never financially realistic. Even Apple is charging for updates to
Universal versions of Final Cut Pro, Logic, etc,

Now, if they would get Finale, and other music software Universal
Binary so they run better on Intel chips.........
