If you got a cordless mouse, get one that is rechargeable. I briefly had an Apple cordless mouse, and went through a TON of batteries. I thought there was some redeeming features, but, in retrospect, no. Perhaps if you don't like clutter.

For wired mouse, the Apple Mighty Mouse is great. I just wish Finale supported the left/right scrolling like programs such as Digital Performer do.

To the wisdom of the list,

Time for a new pointing device. Would someone describe for me in a short statement the operating principle(s) of the cordless mouse beyond the obvious concept in its name? What (is) are its most redeeming feature(s)? Many thanks from this old and rather technically out of date Finale user.

Ken
