I have used that combination in a couple of projects. One job was to produce a CD of a Debussy trio for Viola, Flute and Harp that had been transcribed substituting a guitar for the harp. Finale was for the notes and articulations that went into the MIDI file which I imported into Sonar for dynamic and rubato adjustments. (I also used Vienna Soundfont Studio to make the guitar soundfont). The CD was included as a practice 'music-minus-one' insert with score. Pretty convincing for a MIDI even if I do say so myself. mp3s at: http://www.yatesguitar.com/misc/03-Final-V-G-F.mp3 http://www.yatesguitar.com/misc/02-Interlude-V-G-F.mp3 http://www.yatesguitar.com/misc/01-Pastorale-V-G-F.mp3 Score for sale at: http://www.orphee.com/chamber/debussy.html Richard Yates _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [email protected] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
