The curvy staves (and you know how many times I've asked for this!) are single curved lines exactly the same thickness as the staff lines, done in shape designer, and placed with a metatool. And there are all those staggered barlines, and the part-within-a-score that I asked about here last week. Yes, it's a giant kludge! The biggest problem with the curved staves is the difference between the screen display and the resulting PDF. I may have to learn how to hand-edit Postscript so they touch the actual staff exactly.
