OK, that all makes sense. (You're a good teacher!) I get
generations of computers mixed up with generations of operating
systems, I guess. But the upgrade was overdue anyway, and wonderful
for the faster operation and the larger memory. What I've mainly
lost is about 10 years of scores done in Mosaic (and mostly saved, of
course, on floppy disks!!!). I'm using the G4 to try to convert the
important ones to .PDF files.
