My viol teacher has one of these -- it's AWFUL. I have severe problems seeing in dim environments and maybe I'm more sensitive than most, but that one was completely useless, mostly because it doesn't illuminate a whole double opening of music uniformly -- it shines brightly only on a small spot in where it's pointed. -- David W.
