not normally dealing with music that uses this, i am not entirely sure how is this supposed to be done!
piano trio, pno starts (3/4) with 2 8th notes while vln and vc are silent for 7 and 14 measures, respectively.
1) am i correct that the pickup is NOT included in the measure numbers? if no, then the rest is a non-issue.
2a) correct that a whole rest should appear in the pickup and not a quarter rest? obviously it should not be included in the MM rest, right?
2b) should the measure number (1) appear on the MM rest (i have them appearing normally on MM rests)?
