Look at the Speedy menu. - If "Insert Notes Or Rests" is selected, pressing a number key when the cursor is on a note will insert a note before the selected one. - If "Insert Notes Or Rests" is _not_ selected, Speedy will change the duration of the selected note when a number key is pressed.
