FileMaker has versions for PC and Mac as well as the FileMakerGo version 
for mobile devices -- FileMakerGo is not just a database reader.  It 
allows you to create databases, edit databases, alter the views, etc, so 
it's a very robust tool.  You do have to buy the FileMakerGo app but if 
you do there's a discount on buying the desktop application so it's a 
good bargain.  At least I think it is, if you have serious database needs.
