The idea of everyone contributing to a huge database that eventually becomes a 
resource for everyone appeals to me. Surely a lot of orchestra library work is 
duplication of effort already done by numerous others. If only this were being 
managed by a group devoted to the public domain, like IMSLP or Project 
Gutenberg, rather than a for-profit business.
