Just because he has died, which is very sad, there's no need to beat about the bush -- he could be downright insulting if he thought a person's reply was beneath contempt. Of course, he was always right. :-) I'm saddened by his loss because he was a good contributor to this list until he decided not to keep up with the newest upgrades, and then he wasn't so much a positive contributor of assistance as he was a pretty solid questioner of concepts and practices. He definitely knew his music, though, insulting or not. The musical world has lost an excellent musician and scholar. -- David H.
