Rearranging the Sound Map Priority doesn't change the loading of Audio Unit 
sounds while in MIDI mode.

The only way I've found to stop that from happening is to switch to "Play 
Through Audio Units" and then set the Aria Player to none.

You lose some convenience if you ever wanted to use Audio Units, while on the 
road with a laptop, say, but it won't eat up memory or slow you down from 
making edits.
