Hi all, Pretty quiet this weekend. I gave up on the percussion request and did it the 'old way' again.
In any case, Finale 2011. Here are two images. The first is a graphical kludge of a tuplet across a system break -- I created a tuplet and hid some contents and extended the beam. But of course it doesn't play correctly, and won't work even visually where there's only one beamed note on either side of the system break. The beam over barlines plugin requires that the original already exist correctly on both sides of the barline. <http://maltedmedia.com/images/finale/tuplet-across-system-break.jpg> The second is an interrupted beam -- here, a pair of eight notes broken by a different set of notes (any kind). I have many of these to do. Again, a non-kludgy way that plays back. I've never found a way to add a beam to a single eighth (or smaller) note; it always reverts to a flag.
