Nope.  I haven't used staff styles, I don't 
think.  I hid them to save some of the scrolling 
up and down I was having to do while working on 
the instrumental parts.   I had selected 'allow 
hiding', and also 'force hiding' for some 
reason.   They are both cleared now, but it still 
doesn't want to play with me...

I think something is screwed up, deep down in 
this particular file.   It gives me error 
messages about multiple parts being on the same 
channel, or something, but they aren't.  Some of 
the parts only play for part of the time, 
regardless of whether they *should* or not...

It was imported from a midi file I had worked on 
some time ago.  I think I need to scrap it, and re-import it.

Aren't computers great!
