This takes me right back to my first efforts with Finale (version 2.5 I
think it was called, way back in 1994!). At that point I had never even
used Windows before, so had no appropriate vocabulary at all for looking
things up! Finding the Finale mailing list was wonderful, especially as
(still the case) I could ask a question just before going to bed in England
and often catch a kind U.S. expert who would have an answer waiting for me
by breakfast time. :)

After all those years with earlier versions of Finale I have got better at
guessing what might be useful search terms, but the 2000-2014 gap is
proving a serious challenge.
