Hmmm.

Maybe you have a bad tarball:  a rebuild will use the same file and give you
the same problem unless you download a new one.

Do 'ls -l /sw/src/X420*' and compare with my numbers:

-rw-r--r--   1 root     admin    25961532 Feb  6 12:37 X420src-1.tgz
-rw-r--r--   1 root     admin    23227328 Feb  6 13:48 X420src-2.tgz
-rw-r--r--   1 root     admin     9306679 Feb  6 12:23 X420src-3.tgz

If there's a difference, then remove the offending file and do the 'fink
reinstall' again, which should download a new tarball.
