There was a thread on fink-users a couple of weeks ago in which someone
wound up cooking up a new system-ghostscript package that pointed at
ghostscript 7 (ESP version as well, I believe). This could possibly get
around the tetex problem, but I'm not sure (Dave Morrison looks to be
busy with the upcoming Jaguar binary distro, and hasn't had a chance to
respond to my queries on the matter).

The latest Wierda TeTeX distribution for Jag does use ghostscript 7, by
the way.
