Hi,
I am a very new user of fink (today).I installed the Xfree 4.2.0 binary
version for Darwin with the Xinstall.sh script (is that wrong?).
Then when I try to install system-xfree86 (apt-get install system-xfree86)
I get the following message :
"Your XFree86 installation is incomplete. The following files are missing:
/usr/X11R6/include/X11/Xlib.h
You may have an old version without shared libraries. That is not sufficient
to run downloaded binary packages. Please install XFree86 4.2.0 or later
manually or consider installing the xfree86-base package."
I also install the XonX xfree 4.2.0.1 and 4.2.1 updates and that does
not make any difference for that problem(I don't have yet gcc installed
on my mac)
Am I clear? wrong somewhere?
Manu.
