The whole story is that I installed fink and then "linx" which worked
(Bvery well. Then I tried apt-get install gimp but it ends up with an
(Berror don't remember exactly the message but it was linked with x11
(Bstuff. So I thought I have to install X manually (not with fink which
(Bneed to compile some stuff, is that right?) because I don't have yet
(Bprojectbuilder from apple which would give me gcc.
(BThen I did install Xfree86 manually but without programmer support
(B(maybe why I missed some headers file needed for the virtual package
(B"system-xfree86"?)
(B
(BToday make I make it work by doing :
(BI suppressed all the the Xfree86 files
(Band start over a new Xfree86 installation including the programmer
(Bsupport and after that the virtual package "system-xfree86" got
(Binstalled very well!
(BAnd now I am able to run gimp (for example) with Xdarwin (with updates
(B4.2.0.1 and 4.2.1.1)! So good!
(BI just need to modify the keymap from US to FR (or something like that)
(Bwhich is not a very important point.
(B
(BThunks for answers and helps.
(BI do love that fink project!!!
