I'm not sure how I managed to do it, and this may be related to Terminal more than Fink, but now every time I run Terminal or open a new Terminal window the command "/sw/bin/fink install libpng" automatically runs by itself before I get a chance to type anything.
I've checked Terminal preferences, and Window Settings but I can find no mention of the command, although my default window settings strangely had the window title set to the name of the command. I also looked in .login to see if the command was being run there, but no. I am using Fink Commander to execute Fink commands, which seems like a really nice interface, so that may be related. The only thing I can think of is that I may have clicked "Use Settings as Defaults" in Window Settings while the topmost window was one generated by Fink Commander to install the libpng package. I never have managed to get libpng to install, but that is another story. Right now I just want to get Terminal back to normal.
