This error has been reported a few times recently--nothing should be wrecked.
Try doing a rebuild of ghostscript6, then if that doesn't work, you may be able to remove it with "sudo dpkg -r --force-depends ghostscript6" (or Fink Commander's Source->Force Remove if you're using FC). This turns all the dependency errors into warnings, and lets you remove the package. Then install it again.
