It's based on the fact that a compilation of KDE with an installed version of applesystemfonts was able to detect OS X fonts inside KDE, but an updating of applesystemfonts once KDE is installed breaks this detection.
So, I ask again: which of the KDE packages controls the fonts? If I'm right, a rebuild of the package may bring back the missing OS X >> fonts.

What I'm trying to say is there is no reason to rebuild anything in kde to get them back. Apparently the changes Alexander made to the applesystemfonts package has broken it somehow, but I don't know how. KDE's font handling is unchanged from before, so it's not a KDE issue.

Alexander, do you know what could have happened here?

Any ideas?

I don't mind to rebuild all of my KDE, but by doing so, we may loose the causal factor. And I'd like to know that, out of curiosity.

Thanks in advance,
