You're right. There's already an mplayer on my machine, but it ist not the fink version

It seems to be an older version. Can I remove it with an rm command an install an mplayer via fink, or is there another procedure to get this done.
Actually, what I meant was a Fink version of mplayer had been installed at some point on your machine.

P.S.: Is it possible to set an Reply-To field in mail running over the list? Usually one wants to answer to the list.
The default behavior is set by the list software--the current setup was deliberately chosen. "Reply to all" just means 2 copies of some messages and they're all supposed to be less than 40k.
