I can't figure out how to download and install FireFox for Linux onto my osx/Gnome G4 tower.
Chances are that you don't have the unstable tree in Fink enabled. Follow the insturctions here <http://fink.sourceforge.net/faq/usage-fink.php?phpLang=en#unstable>. If you have Fink Commander, there's a menu option to do this (rather than the manual file editing shown in the URL).
Once unstable is enabled, then firefox can be installed like any other fink package that you are installing from the source code. If you've only been using the Fink precompiled binary distribution, then you'll also need to install the Developer tools (Xcode) that came with your machine and the X11SDK that's also in the Xcode disc.
