Dear All,
I am trying to install the pygtk2-py23 package and keep getting the following
error messages:
I've included most of the output to the terminal for easier diagnosis of the
problem, although clearly it has something to do with the docbook-xsl-1.68.1-1
package. I tried installing this seperately, but I get a very similar error
message.

1. Now edit either your ~/.bash_profile or ~/.cshrc file so it
sets the XML_CATALOG_FILES environment variable to include
/sw/src/docbook-xsl-1.68.1-1/docbook-xsl-1.68.1/catalog.xml as its first
item; example:
# set XML_CATALOG_FILES for bash/ksh shell
export
XML_CATALOG_FILES="/sw/src/docbook-xsl-1.68.1-1/docbook-xsl-1.68.1/catalog.xml
/sw/etc/xml/catalog"
IMPORTANT: Separate filenames in XML_CATALOG_FILES with spaces
2. If you have a CatalogManager.properties file, change the
"catalogs=" line in that file to something like:
catalogs=/sw/src/docbook-xsl-1.68.1-1/docbook-xsl-1.68.1/catalog.xml;/sw/etc/xml/catalog
IMPORTANT: In that file, separate filenames with a SEMICOLON.
Also, make sure that your Java CLASSPATH contains the pathname
to the _directory_ containing CatalogManager.properties file.
3. If you're using a stylesheet customization layer, make sure
that it references the canonical URI for the DocBook
stylesheets; for example, use an xsl:import like this:
<xsl:import
href="http://docbook.sourceforge.net/release/xsl/current/html/chunk.xsl"/>

Am I right in thinking that I need to follow these instructions?
Now edit either your ~/.bash_profile or ~/.cshrc file so it
sets the XML_CATALOG_FILES environment variable to include
/sw/src/docbook-xsl-1.68.1-1/docbook-xsl-1.68.1/catalog.xml as its first

/sw/etc/xml/catalog"
IMPORTANT: Separate filenames in XML_CATALOG_FILES with spaces
and if so, which of the .cshrc files do I edit, the one in / or the one in
/users/simonn/ (my home directory)? And how do I do this?
Many thanks for any help someone could give me on this!
best regards,
Simon.
