I am trying to install the pygtk2-py23 package and keep getting the

error messages:
I've included most of the output to the terminal for easier
diagnosis of the
problem, although clearly it has something to do with the docbook-
xsl-1.68.1-1
package.
Not exactly, more with libxml2 and libxslt.
Here I assume you use 10.3 stable tree, and use fink to install
packages (not finkcommander or dselect).
Try to fink selfupdate first; and see if pygtk2-py23 builds correctly.
If not:
Then try to rebuild libxml2, you should have libxml2, libxml2-shlibs,
libxml2-bin installed (all version 2.6.17-1)
Then try to rebuild libxslt, you should have libxslt, libxslt-shlibs,
libxslt-bin installed. (all version 1.11.11-10)
both bin split-off are very important here.
Then try to install again pygtk2-py23.
