Help! I'm new to the Mac world, but consider myself reasonably proficient in
Linux. I like to use kwallet interactively to store all of my passwords.
Specifically, I want to import my kwallet passwords I store on my Linux
computer to my Mac computer.
I have installed a few versions of kwallet using fink. I have also installed
some other packages. X11 runs fine, and I can run kate from the kde menu. I
can run gimp from the command line, but it does not show on my kde menu and I
have to fully specify the version ("gimp-1.2.2"). /sw/bin/pathsetup.sh says I
am set up ok.
When I run: "fink list kwallet*" I see kwallet4-mac 4.4.1-2, kwallet4-x11
4.4.1-2, and kwalletmanager 3.5.10-3.
But if I try to run them, I get that the command is not found:
source /sw/bin/init.sh ; kwallet4-mac
-bash: kwallet4-mac: command not found
or
source /sw/bin/init.sh ; kwalletmanager
-bash: kwalletmanager: command not found
my PATH is:
/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/sw/bin:/sw/sbin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin
I've tried the find command, but can't seem to locate the executables, and I'm
sure it is not supposed to be that hard. Can anyone help me out?
